Process Running Out Of Memory Space?
added 6.9.2005 -- no source information provided

If a large process on your FreeBSD system is running out of memory space even though you have lots of memory available, ensure that you've changed the maximum process memory size from the default 512 MB.

One way of doing this is to open up /boot/loader.conf and put this line in it:

kern.maxdsiz="1024M"

You can change 1024M as is required for your specific case.
